Sekonda was established in 1966 in Russia with a collection of mechanical watches. With a huge advertising campaign and excellent customer service, Sekonda became a household name.

When the quartz movement was introduced, manufacture was moved to Hong Kong and more diverse styles of watches were made. Since 1988 Sekonda has been the best selling watch brand in units in the UK and continues to hold this accolade to this present day.

Sekonda have introduced many different fashion brands, keeping Sekonda as the number one selling brand. In 2004 Seksy was introduced, aiming to target the 25-35 year age group. Seksy, with clever marketing campaigns, launched ranges that consisted of just eleven models that became global names and best sellers. Growth continued and the range expanded to 30 models.

Still eager to grow, Sekonda introduced a gents fashion range called 'One'. Only Nine models made up the One range, but with clever marketing, Sekonda had yet another successful watch range.
