Jewellery Junkies treats its responsibilities under the Data Protection act 1998 very seriously. Confidentiality is at the heart of the organisation and the discretion we adopt in this area gives our customers added peace of mind.

Jewellery Junkies is required to collect data from all customers in order to administer their order.

Jewellery Junkies may also be required to collect personal data from prospective customers in order to provide a quotation or answer any queries raised by that data subject.

Jewellery Junkies may from time to time wish to contact customers, by email, telephone or post, in order to promote other products or services provided. All customers are given the opportunity to opt out of this facility by way of a tick box online or during any telephone conversation with a customer service representative.

Jewellery Junkies will only collect data which is required in order to administer its business and customer orders. We will not collect or retain details of no relevance to the administration of an order.

A copy of the data provided is confirmed at the time an order is placed, this gives the policyholder the opportunity to review the data held and advise of any errors or omissions from the data, which will be corrected immediately upon notification.

Jewellery Junkies ensures that personal information held for the running of its business and the administration of its customer orders is retained purely for that purpose only and when no longer required or relevant to the business the data will be destroyed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
